We strive for spray-free, organic, free-range and local where possible, but always keeping in mind that the best produce sometimes comes from a farmer that is local to a different region of Australia.

I had the opportunity to experience Lucas’s culinary skills and hospitality this week while away in Byron at a creative business retreat. The food that Lucas prepared for us all was a highlight for me. He executes the simple things incredibly well. Every meal was full of flavour and I found myself looking forward to each meal knowing Lucas was the person preparing it. Lucas was also just a great addition to the atmosphere. He worked seamlessly over the retreat and helped elevate the experience having our very own private chef. He was flexible with timings of meals and overall just created a world class experience for our group! From start to finish, everything was handled with professionalism and ease. Lucas was such an engaging and entertaining host, an interesting and vibrant story teller. Everything about the evening was sublime. The food was superb, elegant, and a  beautiful blend of flavours. We were celebrating my mums 70th birthday. The food was delicious and was able to cater for all dietary needs. Lucas was friendly and great to chat to throughout our dinner. We had a fantastic time and wonderful food and service thanks to Lucas. We will definitely book Lucas for another event next time we are in the area

Chef Lucas embarked on a food journey 18 years ago, traveling the world, learning about food and finally settling in Byron Bay in 2013.

Passionate about hosting intimate gatherings, cooking with the finest local produce and connecting people through memorable dining experiences, he believes food should be done in a way that allows for the produce to speak for itself.

With an extensive background in cooking healthier food that presents well and tastes delicious, he will be your kitchen host, ensuring you are eating well but also sharing his knowledge and passion as a cooking mentor.
